Moregro Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes
Our MoreGro Multipurpose with added John Innes has been formulated with the 50 year old recipe to create a medium for all life stages in plants. With added loam from the John Innes and the fibres present in our peat free range provides an optimum soil structure that encourages root growth and extended plant life. The loam and fibres are a perfect combination for holding nutrients and creates a texture that retains water long enough for plants to access it. The compost drains well and stops roots from sitting in waterlogged soils and prevents rotting that might result in the death of the plant. We have included seaweed and volcanic dust to our product to help add essential micro nutrients such as sulphur and gypsum promoting micro-organism activity and regulation of pH.

John Innes No.3 Compost
Our John Innes No.3 Peat Free compost is made from the 50 year old recipe of loam and horticultural grit combined with bark fines and COIR. Our formula provides mature plants with a stockpile of nutrients for potting on and final potting of mature plants into large containers or pots. Our John Innes No.3 Peat Free helps to promote strong root development, healthy growth and maintenance of plants along with a long lasting moisture retention feature that will help to reduce the need for watering and prevent drying out. The unique properties of this compost is free draining and helps to prevent the roots becoming waterlogged and keeps porosity to allow plants to respire. The compost is specially formulated to act as an anchor for roots of mature plants with its heavier composition of other composts.

Our MoreGro Rose, Tree and Shrub is completely peat free, it contains sustainable forest by-products which are high in nutrients and organic matter that is perfect for roses, trees and shrubs. The fibres that are incorporated into our mix secures air for roots to breath, drains excess water and this helps to deliver strong roots for roses, trees and shrubs. The Bio fibres give a coarse texture which is perfect for all potting needs, promoting healthy root growth and resists compaction. We have also added a wetting agent to prevent drying out of the soils and to help maintain the structure of the soil after planting. Our product contains a base fertiliser of nitrogen for green leaves and shoot growth, phosphorus for strong root development and potassium for more flowering and fruit production. Like all our peat free products we have included seaweed to add 60 + more trace elements to roses, trees and shrubs promoting a healthy, long lasting and vibrant flowering.

John Innes No.1 Compost
Our John Innes No.1 Peat Free compost is made from the 50 year old recipe of loam and horticultural grit combined with bark fines and COIR. It has a peat free formula but the addition of loam gives the young plants a base suited for young plant root development and to allow for the changing nutritional requirements of a growing plant. Whilst our John Innes No.1 Peat Free compost is suitable for a wide range of species, some modifications are required for some specialized plants. For example, calcifuge plants such as Ericas and Rhododendrons should be grown in our John Innes Ericaceous Peat Free compost.
